For a moment that matters: mark a birth, a wedding, a new home or the memory of someone you love.
Your words, your design: choose any name, date or short phrase, in a lettering style that suits.
Ready in around 5 weeks: each bench is hand-carved to order.

A name and a date that stay in the garden

Some of the simplest engravings say the most. This bench carries just a name, “Libbs”, and a date, 19 May 2021, carved by hand into thick, solid oak. It’s a quiet, lasting way to mark a day that changed everything.

Customers choose a name-and-date bench for many reasons: to celebrate a new baby, a wedding day or a first home, or to create a place to sit and remember someone who’s no longer here. Whatever the occasion, it becomes part of the garden for years to come.

Hand-carved by a skilled sculptor

Every engraving is carved by hand by an experienced sculptor whose work features in national parks. He works close to our workshop, so we plan each design with him in detail. The result is lettering with real depth that won’t peel or fade like a plaque can.

About solid oak

These benches are made from very thick, natural oak, which moves with the seasons. Small cracks and splits will appear as the wood dries and takes on moisture. This is completely natural and doesn’t affect the bench’s strength.
